Do you have a showroom where I can view your products?

No, we do not have showrooms or physical stores. Our aim is to help your find the right appliance without having to visit a physical store.

To help you choose the right product for your needs, we try to provide:

I haven’t shopped online before? How do I shop online?

Follow this basic process:

  1. Browse freely through the site
  2. Select a product you like and add it your cart
  3. In your cart, you can ‘check out’ to buy the product
  4. Select your payment method
  5. Insert your payment details, address and contact details
  6. Receive an order confirmation email
  7. Track your order

Where are your products made?

We don't manufacture products ourselves at - we're a retailer of appliances from a variety of South African and international brands. Check out our brands page for more information.

Are your products factory seconds or second-hand? deals directly with manufacturers, so we will only sell brand new, in the box products with a full Manufacturer's Warranty. We sell no second-hand products. (We may occasionally run specials of factory damaged goods, but these are sold under a specific category.

When the item I want is out of stock what should I do?

Our stock availability is driven by the manufacturers, so an item displayed as "In Stock" may not be in stock if we sold out overnight.

Upon request, we can provide an approximate lead time for when the item will become available in our warehouse again. This varies by manufacturer and could be anything from a few days to several weeks.

This means that you have the option to order the product now and wait for it to arrive, whereupon it will be delivered to you straight away, or wait until the item is back in stock before making a purchase.

However, if you need an appliance urgently, we recommend choosing an alternative model. If an item is out of stock, our website will automatically provide a list of alternative appliances on the product page.

If your item is out of stock and you would like to wait, we'll communicate any changes to the product's estimated time of arrival as soon as these details are passed on to us by the manufacturers.


Do the products come with Manufacturer’s Warranties?

Yes, all of the products sold by come with a full Manufacturer's Warranty.

What happens if I want to make a claim under the Manufacturer Warranty?

If a product breaks or experiences any other issue within the manufacturer's warranty period, you can contact the manufacturer to ask for service or spare parts. All you'll require is a copy of your Appliances Online invoice that you will be emailed to you.

The manufacturer will then arrange a suitable time for their local service agent to come out to assess and hopefully fix the problem. However, most small appliances have no "in-house" service so you may be required to take it to your nearest approved service agent.

What Payment options are available?

When buying a product on you may pay using Credit cards & debit cards - VISA, MasterCard, Instant EFT, or by saving your credit card details.

Do you have a credit Service?

Yes, you can buy products on credit using a Mobicred account, and soon an RCS account or loan. If you don't have one of these accounts, first visit their web sites to apply.  


How are your products delivered?

Once ordered, products are delivered fully packaged via our trusted courier service - DPD Laser, Time Freight or Dawn Wing.

Can I specify a time of day for delivery?

Unfortunately, not currently, but we are working on providing this service via our couriers.

We organise our delivery runs differently every morning, based on the number of orders in each area that day. To efficiently reach all of our customers, we're unable to deliver at predetermined times of day.

If an incorrect delivery address is provided, or no one is present to receive the item at the time of delivery, the delivery will be returned to our supplier warehouse, and we will contact you to book a new delivery. Please note that as we use 3rd party transporters and we are charged for each delivery, you will be charged a delivery fee again.

When will my order arrive?

You will receive an email estimating the time and date of your delivery.

What if I am not happy with my purchase or the appliance is faulty?

Inspect the interior and exterior of your good upon arrival! 

Damaged Shipments:

It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for it. Unlike smaller purchases, appliances are delicate and have many parts that are sensitive to rough handling. Though your box and packaging may appear intact, it is still possible that your product may be damaged. Check for both internal and external damage before accepting delivery. If there is damage refuse the delivery and make a note on the delivery receipt. The appliance will be replaced. Please note that shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable. 
Defective Merchandise:

Plug in your appliance ASAP to make sure it operates properly.

It is important that you install your appliance as soon as you can to make sure it operates properly. If you receive an item that is defective upon delivery that is not due to shipping damages, please contact customer support within 48 hours of receipt . If your item is defective after the first use, please contact the manufacturer directly. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product information. always goes according to the manufacturer warranties and policies. 

Missing parts are covered within the first 30 days upon delivery receipt. Please contact the manufacturer directly to order any missing parts. 

Product Does Not Meet Your Needs: 

ApplianceOnline does not refund products, unless they are faulty or damaged on delivery.

All refunds will be issued when goods have arrived back to an warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. A credit note will be issued on your account. We do not refund payments.
